Winter or summer, or even off season, come and enjoy the fresh mountain air in a breathtaking natural setting. Le Valmignon flat is located at the highest altitude in Valmeinier and offers a magnificent south-facing view of the mountains, while being within easy reach of the ski slopes and shops.

From the large balcony you can look out over a magnificent landscape stretching from the Pointe de la Sandonière (east) to the Crey du Quart (west). Below, you can see the solarium of the swimming pool and the snow garden where beginners learn to ski. In between, your children can play (in the snow in winter and on the lawn in summer) while you watch from the balcony as you enjoy your aperitif (in moderation…).

In autumn 2023, the flat has been completely renovated: flooring, equipment (TV, free wifi), crockery, bedding, bathroom, toilet, decorations and finishing touches. It has been available to rent since 23 December 2023.

The rental includes access to a locker in the heated ski room on the ground floor. Once you are equipped for skiing, you leave the locker in front of the residence where you are 100 metres from the Petites Anglaises green run and less than 100 metres from the Chaudanne red run.

Back at the flat, this time you equip yourself to go swimming. You can go out in your swimming costume and simply walk down one floor to the heated pool. If you prefer, you can use the pool’s changing rooms. Showers are also available. In summer, you can also enjoy the outdoor solarium where you can sunbathe in the fresh air and enjoy the spectacular mountain views.

You can also use the fitness room to keep fit. For relaxation, there is a sauna and steam room (for a fee). In the summer, you can enjoy a sporting holiday with a wide range of activities and endless hiking possibilities. But you can also enjoy a complete rest in this oasis of serenity.

For food, supplies, equipment and information, you will find everything you need in the immediate vicinity: restaurants, general food shops, local cheese shop, bakery, ski equipment rental, ski pass sales, tourist office, French Ski School (ESF) office.

No need to buy water: the water that flows from the tap in the flat comes from the Valmeinier commune’s water catchments and is delicious and fresh, summer and winter. Of course, you sort your rubbish and put it in the containers located on the Place de Roche Noire, just opposite the residence.

If you want to enjoy the nightlife, you can easily walk down to the disco or to the bars and restaurants in the centre of the resort, while the more tired will enjoy the peace and quiet of the residence. As the flat is located at the back of the building, there is no need to worry about noise pollution.
